The restaurant’s highlights are the walk-in wine cellar, espresso bar, and rotisserie. Basilico offers a decent spread of cold seafood – lobster, prawns, mussels, cray fish, and scallops. Oyster lovers may be disappointed but not so much as to not enjoy the rest of the spreads. Other favorites are their pasta and pizza, antipasti, and desserts. The Line
The Line is one of the pioneers in theatrical buffet dining in Singapore. It is very popular for its Sunday brunch where guests can indulge in free flowing champagne and lots of oysters. Located at the Shangri-La Hotel’s Tower Wing lower lobby in 22 Orange Grove Road, the restaurant offers guests a gastronomical feast with its 16 culinary stations. It is an international buffet so you can find local favorites, Northern Indian food, Italian, western – whatever you’re in the mood for. The queue at the seafood station is quite long on Sundays but is definitely worth your time. Raw fish is sliced upon request. The bar offers a wide selection of wines and juices. The dessert station is one of the highlights – cakes, jellies, ice cream, chocolate treats. Reservations are a must for the Sunday brunch and remember to arrive early.

Cherry Garden is on the 5th floor of the Mandarin Oriental Singapore in 5 Raffles Avenue. It is said to be one of the most beautiful restaurants in Singapore. The interiors are designed according to feng shui and are a fusion of the ancient and modern Orient. The restaurant serves Cantonese cuisine and is famous for its Dim Sum Champagne Buffet. Due to the limited seating capacity, the Dim Sum buffet is divided into 2 seating. Reservation is highly recommended.
